my friends
Gábor Balázs
Mentor. Simply a legend.
VIKTOR LENTE
Storyteller. He can tell anything with sounds. Sometimes there are more clips on his timeline than hair on his head.
Designer. A musician with OCD is very rare. He is that guy, with all the benefits of both. Musical, tonal, emotional, but clear and precise.
JÁNOS TÓTH
The power. I can assure you that you’ll hear those vehicles, doors, guns, bodyfalls, and everything that he put on the timeline.
TAMÁS KREINER
Artist. In all aspects. He thinks differently about everything, especially sounds. He uses every prop, every shoe, and every fader to express what he feels.
TAMÁS BEKE
DORKA MEZŐ
The girlpower. Accurate and precise. She does her job so that you don't even notice that anything was ever in the wrong place.
“WE MAKE FILMS.
NOT JUST SOuND.”
— M.P.
WHO I Trust
The Swiss army knife. Think of a task; he’ll surely solve it.
Gábor CSÁSZÁR
JAN MAJSTR
The fader guy. A few days next to him in the mixing room can really change everything.
Béla Barabás
The wise man. Especially when it comes to Dolby Atmos. He knows everything about it.
György Mohai
The water polo player. And one of the greatest music engineers, with literally a ton of microphones.
István Matók
The musician. And the perfect combination of the previous two guys.
Attila Lőrincz
The speaker. Really! He's incredibly good with words.
The English teacher. Trying to square the circle.
Benjamin Gooderham
WHO TRUSTS ME
“Máté has been a core member of my team of collaborators since our Oscar-winning short ‘Sing’. I can’t imagine going through post-production without his creativity and relentless professionalism - and we always have a good time too.”
Kristóf deák
“Only when a sound engineer has the gift of clear vision can they create harmony. Máté possesses this creative force.”
Tamás Yvan Topolánszky
“qoute”
Claudia Sümeghy
Péter Fazakas
"Maté makes me feel both safe and inspired. More importantly, he is always inspired by my crazy ideas."
“Working with Máté on the sound post-production of my film was a truly special experience. It is rare to find such a strong professional and human connection: we listened to each other, trusted each other’s instincts and expertise, and very quickly found ourselves on the same wavelength.
Beyond his exceptional professional knowledge, I was deeply impressed by his empathy, his ability to collaborate as part of a team, and the care he brings not only to his own work, but to the entire project and the people around him. It was a wonderful feeling to experience how a project becomes more than just work for him — how it gradually turns into a true passion project.”

Things I like to do
-
Every time I open an AAF, I ask myself: why am I doing it? And the answer comes in minutes: Making decisions on actors' voices probably has the biggest influence on (and responsibility in) filmmaking. Addictive.
-
A good recording could be part of the performance in dubbing as well as in music. Unfortunately, so can a bad one…
-
To unite. That's my passion: bringing people together. Figuring out together, making decisions together, shaping together, listening together.
-
Sometimes it’s good to do it alone.
-
This is something I can never do alone. The most exciting part of the workflow is to direct the viewer's attention.
